Our staff club arranged a picnic to poolampatty on 15th August to enhance the joys of the Independence Day celebrations in which 41 staff members participated.

Our Alumni Association conducted the Executive Committee Meeting on 15/08/2008 after the Flag hoisting ceremony. In the meeting it was decided to perform the "BOOMI POOJA" for construction of the Auditorium on 27/10/2008 in our Campus.

Dental Screening Camp for all First Year Students was conducted on 19/08/2008 in association with JKK Nataraja Dental College, Komarapalayam.

NCC - Annual Training Camp - Cum - Republic Day Selection Camp for 10 days was conducted at Kandasamy Kandar College, Velur from 09/08/2008 to 18/08/2008. 14 cadets out of which 4 of them are girls has participated in this camp along with our NCC Officer Sri Lt.K.S. Perarasu and successfully completed their training.

IPAA Salem Division Badminton was conducted at CSI Polytechnic College on 08/08/2008. Our team has won the Runnership in the tournament.

The Salem Division Ball Badminton Tournament was held at Salem Polytechnic College on 12/08/2008 & 13/08/2008. Our team has won the Runnership in this tournament.
